Browsing some inspirational links sent to me this morning I came across this, simply awe-inspiring documentary of the making of Amon Tobin’s latest ISAM gig – featuring a 3D blocky set (think LEGO bricks) combined with amazing 3D projections that alternate between changing the surface of the blocks, to making the 3D surface appear flat for projecting moving images like smoke, flying space ships etc. Add to this the synchronisation to Amon Tobin’s great songs and you have a jaw-dropping visual feast!
